We are looking for an individual to train 1-2 employees on Android Studio proficiency for professional project deployment. Each employee has a good understanding of Java SE 8, and have both passed Java SE 8 Programmer I Exam through Oracle. Each employee has worked on some small Android projects. Our employees lack a few skill sets in order to be ready to develop in a professional setting. The goal of the training is to bring them up to speed and able to pass any interview(Technical & Whiteboard). Training Curriculum: - Unit testing with hands on experience - TDD (Test Driven Development) Mockito or a simple TDD system - Design pattern such as MVC, MVP, etc - Basic sql knowledge needed - RxJava (or something similar) a short lesson with hands on examples - Analytical skills (Breaking down some of the code challenges in detail) - Rest, Restful, SOAP API examples and hands on building & differences - Android Libraries - Android WebServices - Database basics (firebase etc, ) - Mock interview We expect training to last 1-2weeks Mon-Fri 1-3hours a day Candidate must have proven Android background. We prefer someone who already trains people on the daily. We will also consider people who currently hold an android developer position. All tools in training can only be tools used in a profession/commercial setting. Training must be done either through skype or webex type of platform where whiteboard is allowed or share screen. Goal of training is to get employees placed in professional setting so all tools and examples must be on a commercial, professional setting.
