Android & iOS Streaming Audio App

Android / Ios App Development This project is going to be to provide local users within our city access to a live streaming police scanner that will be hosted on a dedicated PC in addition to push notifications of major events that are occurring within their city plus the ability to search for previous police scanner recordings by time and date and a news board where updates will be posted. We will be charging a monthly subscription fee for this service. Features: > Uses our Windows PC to stream scanner audio to our server (We currently use RadioFeed from [login to view URL] site). Our PC receives the input audio via audio cable connected to the PC. Im sure we can use existing software to acheive this audio input into the server for this project, the [login to view URL] already offers a web server feature. > Our server then broadcast the stream to users of our Android/Ios app. Users will have a web player in the app to start/stop/pause > We are able to send push notification alerts to members that have opted in alerting them of breaking news which will direct them back to our app to listen to the live audio. Users can select the times and days they wish to receive push notification alerts. > Our app with also have a news bulletin page where we can post important news alerts to members of our app. > In order to use the app, the users must pay a $x,xx monthly subscription fee handled through Google or Apple. > Audio Archives: Users can select a time and date to play back audio. > News bulletin: On this page they will see the latest 5 bulletins posted, click on them to expand the text and if a link is included must be able to click on it to view further information online. Admin Features: > We would like Facebook SDK and AdMob integration > View active paying subscribers, monthly income totals, number of users that are not paying subscribers..etc Basic financial and app stats. > Ability to setup a push notification alert and send to users that are premium subscribers and have opted in. Our server ensures that notififications are only sent to those premium subscribers that have opted in and during the times they have specified to receive such alerts. > Ability to publish, delete or modify a news bulletin. A news bulletin can also contain a link that we specify to direct them to a news article...etc > View users currently using the mobile app, View users subscribed to push notification alerts, Users Currently Streaming...etc Other Features: > Our server should record audio in 30 minute segments for the previous 30 days, so a user can go back and locate a time and date they wish to replay audio. So if they wanted last Tuesday at 11:13am they would find the audio for Tuesday 11:00-11:30am and play that which our server would then stream that specific audio file to them. > App and Server much ensure that only active premium users that pay their monthly subscription can access the content, if a user cancels their subscription their access to the premium area must be removed. > Of course when users first download our app we need to sell them on the premium content because nothing is really included without being a paid subscriber so proper graphics and layout for this app is a must. > During signup to premium I\'d like to capture name/email if possible and be able to view this in the admin panel on our server. > Alerts to admin if audio feed goes offline.
