Hi! My name is Fernando Téllez. I am a senior year student of electrical engineering at Universidad Simón Bolívar (USB), one of the most prestigious universities in my country (Ranked 34° at the QS University Rankings: Latin America 2015). For my undergraduate thesis, I had to apply probabilistic concepts into the coding of a Monte Carlo method in order to simulate the down times and repair times of an Electric system (this was achieved by the implementation of a discrete event simulator) The thesis was approved with honors on 01/August/2016.
