Good day! I came across your project, and you wish to use : 1) Matlab 2) ANN implementation in Matlab for image classification into 2 classes. Questions: 1) Do you have a labelled DATASET? So, before we begin we must have a collection of images marked "Class 1" and the rest obviously is other class. The 1st time I'd build such a database was from ImageNet for classifying watches. We will use inbuilt MATLAB tools. I use MATLAB 2017. But, will try to use most tools that are not too new. I've many projects involving CNN. I recently completed one for fingerprint recognition using ANN. The project involved learning scaled-conjugate backprop, gradient descent, and ROC curves to choose/tune 1) no of layers 2) neurons per layer 3) loss function 4) type of loss 5) class imbalance So, kindly message me so that I can understand the current state of the project. Then, we can set some deadlines and . milestones and proceed.
