Hyphenation of bold font in Latex / Lyx

I need someone who is expert in using Lyx and Latex. I seek assistance to enable automatically forced hyphenation of bold text. I am getting unexpected hyphenation behavior when using bold font. The output using normal font is shown in (normal [login to view URL]) (normal [login to view URL]). When using bold font, the text is sometimes justified to the right, not always (bold [login to view URL]) (bold [login to view URL]). When using mixed normal and bold font, sometimes the bold text is hyphenated and sometimes not (bold [login to view URL]) (bold [login to view URL]). This is affecting the PDF output in my report as the bold font passes out the margin (report [login to view URL]).
