- Update an existing feature on my rails app to allow user profiles to include their instagram and youtube account info (currently only has twitter and fb) I have a Rails app in production that needs a few updates. The most pressing is to allow users to add Instagram and youtube information to their profiles. - Update the application to allow new users to select instagram and youtube as an option and add their profile detail. - - Change the model to include instagram and youtube - - Change the add and edit user form view to allow selecting instagram and youtube as options - - Change the user detail display view to show the icon and link for instagram and/or youtube if user has provided that information - - Stage changes for review on heroku - - Deploy to production without interrupting service - Help me set up and preview the changes by pulling down the branch from github - Bonus: Teach me how to make the changes and deploy Application Details: - Rails 4.2.7.1 - Postgresql - Ruby 2.3.1 Site: - [login to view URL] - Preview it here: [login to view URL] Update Detail: Currently Available functionality: ----- App is a listing of individuals with user details, website, and your social media profiles. Currently, the app allows user to add facebook and twitter. The view looks for adding an editing lists the social media platform and allows users to add their profile name or profile link. Tasks such as adding fields shouldn't be too difficult, though it can depend on the database structure. The html and JS / CSS changes should be reasonable as well. Relevant Skills and Experience I am a Rails developer with a background in datamase management.
