Cornerstone and Orthanc Integration (Fixed Simple)

Cornerstone is an open source project with a goal to deliver a complete web-based medical imaging platform. We are using the cornerstoneDemo [1, 2] as a tool to display Medical Images (DICOM) from a PACS Server (Orthanc) [3, 6]. A tool called cornerstoneWADOImageLoader [7] can be used to integrate Cornerstone with WADO-URI servers, DICOMWeb servers or any other HTTP based server that returns DICOM P10 instances (Orthanc) [3, 6]. However, at the moment we do not have this functional mechanism integrated with our system. At the moment, our system composes an Orthanc Server that serves and manages DICOM Images as a PACS. On the other hand, we have a cornerstoneDemo similar system, that uses those DICOM Images to produce several operations over them. Each time we upload a new image we need to manually add that image to our JSON files [8, 9]. An API from Orthanc Server is given to access the needed information about how the server is giving the Image Processing [10] information. This is a fundamental step to understand the requirements of the project. So, the task here is as follows: - We need to automatically read those DICOM Images from the Orthanc Server (PACS) to our system.
