I have an Angular 5 app, using a player service for mp3 playback. The service has EventEmitters that call back my component when a song finishes playing, I then make this.playing=false. However my view doesn't get updated. I think the issue is related to Change Detection. I don't want to spend too much time figuring this out, and need help with it. The project is public on Bitbucket.

I have worked with angular for several years now and built several large sites. I am also very experienced with JavaScript. Once I know the tool you are using it shouldn't take long to get it sorted. Relevant Skills and Experience I built a system for myself to access my music in a browser. I used the html 5 music player.
