Hello, i can do what you need, will create a function that triggers the search (is it a MySQL database?) automatically when the polygon is closed (closed means that the last point drawn touches the first one) Thanks

The project use the Google MAPS API V3 for show the marker in the near of the user. In details: system allows the user's location and to show on google maps the nearest points inserted in a xml file or json. In addition, the user from the smartphone or tablet, must be able to draw on the map the area where you want to search. I think this feature is called polygon. Once therefore designed the area, the system without pressing any other button, must be show the points (markers) in that area that matches the data in XML or JSON.

Hi, This is a simple functionality request for me. Rendering a map with multiples markers and using a polygon to search on the map is something I have completed in the past. I wanted to talk to you about it to see your detail needs. Let me elaborate a little bit more on that. Using the polygon for search usually is great idea considering you have TOO much data and that the user is on a desktop. There are a few other options I could suggest in this case to for you.
