Not even sure this can be done, but I have an HTML file that has a background pic and test results that I want to be able to print as a Certificate of Completion. I made up an instruction sheet on how to print the certificate, but it's too complicated. The course generates an HTML file upon completion and starts Microsoft's Internet Explorer to display the text, but I altered it to show the certificate. Hopefully the attached PDF will explain what one has to go through to print.
To better clarify what I need, I built a course with Articulate's Storyline that automatically generates an html, opens Internet Explorer and displays a list of all the results including the student's name and final score.
I was able to alter the report.html and add a table to display a background image of a Certificate of Completion. However the usual print settings for IE defaults are: Portrait orientation, .75" margins, Headers, Footers, Page #, and Date (which I don't want) and also it defaults to not printing background images or graphics.
The student has to go through a lot of steps to get the certificate to print. I was hoping Java or some other program could make all the changes needed, so all the student has to do is hit the printer icon and choose their printer.
Is this even possible? I'm uploading the report.html file and a sample certificate, but bear in mind, there's no actual data to display, just variables that wait for the course software to send when the student hits "Print Results"
I can alter the html file to add internet explorer print option. Relevant Skills and Experience I have strong knowledge in HTML5 . I know how to do this sort of things . Proposed Milestones $100 USD - Alter html file
