Website revamp

We are a technology managed services provider looking to identify a partner that we can use to fulfill both our own in house as well as client needs for website design and redesign. We are looking to evaluate our selected partner by first having them do a much needed redesign of our website ([login to view URL]) Ideally we would like to create the new site using a combination of php/mysql and joomla or equivalent cms. We are looking for the site to be function as an internet portal for our clients and prospective clients that gives them access to three specific areas of interest: 1) technical support / helpdesk (already up - would be a redirect) 2) technical news and interesting bits and possibly a blog 3) presales info on what the services we provide are and how we differentiate ourselves from the competitors We have a very specific message and methodology that we want to communicate and are looking for the look and feel of the redesigned site to communicate this effectively and professionally while providing a cohesive feel to the various site components. The site developer will be relied upon to provide the integration of the various site components with a strong graphical design statement. We will provide the message and the designer is expected to provide the vehicle to get that message across. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). 2) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Employer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Employer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the employer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this project. ## Platform Preferred platform will be on our hosting provider netfirms but we are also open to other options. We have a strong LAMP bias in our work.
