I have a ms access sales order entry database. I Want to have a form that allows a user to select sales by a monthly date range - for example - sales from 01/01/2017 to 01/31/2017. After selecting the data, I want to refresh a MS Excel spreadsheet with the data. The Spreadsheet chart groups the sales by salesperson, showing a dollar amount and a percentage of total sales (see image attached). I also want to user to be able to save the excel file and send it to others with the data in it. I can provide a sample database with orders entered, and the form that selects the data by date range and places it into the table that Excel will connect to. I can also provide a sample excel file that uses a similar chart - I want the chart to be on tab 1 and the data to be on tab 2. I need the excel file created, and the VBA coding in Access so the access data refreshes when a user selects a date range from the access form. An image of the chart to be generated is uploaded, as well as a pdf and database. After this small task, I have other spreadsheets that need to be created using the same methods.

What I would do is create a form in the Access database that will present a report to the user, according to the criteria that he select. Then, using a button, you can generate the Excel file or send it by e-mail. I would like to send you an example image of what the form would look like. I am very good at designing database solutions and have worked extensively with user interface. I like practical solutions; simple but covering all of the client's requirements. This seems to be a pretty straight forward request. you would need to write a macro in excel that runs a query in access that builds the data. I did a similar project for a fairly large fortune 300 company (13b in sales annually) so they could create a daily report monitoring how much space and inventory was in their warehouses. please let me know if you would like to collaborate on this.
