Hi there!! I'm looking for freelancer who can create me a simple mobile size screens that plays video file from SD card using arduino or raspberry pi or any microcontrollers available. please check this youtube video ([login to view URL]), this is exactly the functionality I need. but it would be great if you can suggest me hardware that fits into the budget and with smaller microcontroller/microprocessor. it is not required to use arduino or raspberry pi, any microcontroller or microprocessor that fits perfect for this project would do. All it have to do is to play videos in fullscreen from inserted SD card one by one, no need of any controls or anything, just plays the video one by one in full screen. suggested screen size: around 4.7 x 3.4 inches project will be awarded to the freelancer who recommends to deliver best outcome with cheapest hardware to choose from. Please make sure bid price includes the price of the hardware you are going to use, also mention in detail of price structure and hardware names. Thanks, Nami

hello, for the project you ask, you will need a raspberry pi which has an advantage of a relatively strong processing unit and an easy to work with operating system, these are impotent in playing media files. the cost of a raspberry pi 3 model B is about 3000 INR. the cost of a 4.3' inch screen is also about 3000 INR. (note that this price does not include the SD card price.) for creating a python script that automatically plays a video when the raspberry pi is on, and also handle the screen connection, i request 5000 INR. thank you for reading and have a good day.

using raspberry pi it can be done so that it plays 1080p videos ,can be used as signage syatem for any purpose all type of screens can be configured with hdmi

We can finish this project using Rasberry PI + Android Things IOT platform which all you have to do is add you videos to specific folder and wil play forever on fullscreen mode
