I bid on the last post, hopefully you saw the the last proposal! I can copy the concept using esp board and reed switches. The simplest approach would be IFTTT service or SMS service for notification via Wi-Fi, although I cannot guarantee you the life time of the battery, I can ensure you to use sleep cycles with wake ups only when the sensor changes state, we can calculate the presumable life time after a few tests. I can deliver the program in 3 days and the PCB layout in 2. Those would be work days, so no weekends. please text me back so we can discus the project a little bit more deeply

I have lots of experience with PCB design using KiCAD, Altium and Eagle. I could create a PCB for this sensor board with an ESP12F and hall effect sensor or reed switch to detect the door state.

i will do that using esp8266 nodemcu. it will read the data from reed switch and send a notification over wifi

i know many thing about sensor, and i know many kind of sensor, and i can program it, know how to use it, and know what the problem if there is problem occure in sensor. in my lab i have much sensor so i can predict, calculate, and try it. i also can design or redesign pcb.
