Hi, I believe the best solution would be to follow a web-based approach for the development of your software. This has several advantages (easy multi-user access, no need for local installations, no need for updates on the client's computers etc). As far as the back-end is concerned, any professional-level database system (such as Microsoft's SQL Server, Oracle, or mysql) would be fine. If you are not expecting to get many users logged into the system at the same time, and also not expecting a huge load of data, an MS Access database would also do the job. Regarding security, you could restrict user access by providing user accounts with passwords, with access roles/levels. Additionally, you could limit user access based on the IP addresses of the visitors/admins, so only "known" IP addresses are allowed to use the system. I believe it to be the least expensive way to get remote users on the same database. Printing of rich detailed reports is also available to all users. I can help you develop this for your business. Do you currently have any infrastructure available? (Servers, domains) If not my company offers hosting for this type of database, or you can purchase hosting through a third party. Do you have a database you are currently using? I can give you a tour of some of the databases that I have working on this platform. Normally my company charges $2200 for a basic database setup. I don't quite understand your project pricing. What are you looking for at $750?

Once quick solution will be to use cloud storage to store the access database and provide access to the persons who will require to work on the database. If you are looking for something like only certain data can be seen within the database, it will be a slightly different ballgame, but can be done
