This is a micro D3.js project comprising two parts. I have a large data in csv format needs to be displayed as multiple hierarchical trees in d3.
First part of the project is to display this csv data in the hierarchial layouts of d3:
1. Zoomable/draggable Tree map layout
2. Zoomable/draggable Tree layout
3. Zoomable/draggable Pack layout
For these layouts I don't need to interact with nodes but I need tooltips on mouse hover to display
1. Sized images
2. Text on number of children, off-springs, name
3. Clickable links to open a new browser window
The first part of the project is trivial and does not require much coding on top of the well documented d3 layouts.
Second part of the project will utilize Robschmuecker example of "Drag and drop, collapsible d3.js Tree with 50,000 nodes". It is a clickable cluster dendogram tree layout written in d3. The features I need are:
[login to view URL] and drop as implemented in the example.
In addition I require
1. A hover on tooltip that displays sized images
2. Tooltip text telling number of children and off-springs
3. Clickable link on the tooltip opening new browser window
3. Node coloring based on data
4. Deleting or moving nodes
5. Saving data as a new json that can be opened with the same js in future
This shouldn't take much time if you are proficient in d3.
