SEO Travel Destination Content Writing

Our online travel company is looking to continue to increase our web presence by building up an SEO focused travel information section on our site. This project wrapping up the end of its first year and we would like year 2 to produce double the content of year one in terms of travel articles written. We are looking for a content writer(s) who is comfortable with writing for both readability and SEO purposes. We are also interested building a pace with a consistent writer(s) who is/are capable of producing between 5 and 10 pieces a week. Because SEO is the main purpose for the articles, the content provided within them does not have to dazzle in terms of detail or research required.(ie, if the article was on Paris, we would expect to see a mention of France, couple major French cities, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, wine, cheese, baguettes, perhaps something about a bicycle with a baguette, etc.). Really general knowledge, the official tourism website, and Wikipedia are all that is needed in terms of fact finding. A list of SEO phrases and the destination topic would be provided for each article, as well as a general style guide for writing (which has also been attached here). And though SEO is the main consideration, it is crucial that the articles actually read decently in case someone happens to stumble across them online. As we are an Australian site, the articles are being written for an English based audience and need to be written by someone who (if not a native speaker) has a great command of the English language. The articles are repetitive and informal in style, but need correct phrasing and the writer needs to demonstrate comprehension of colloquial uses of the English language. The articles should be between 5 – 7 paragraphs, and should take about half an hour to an hour to research and write each, although as the writer becomes comfortable with the pattern of writing there should be a natural shortening of time required for each one. I have attached two examples of articles we have received in the past. The Frankfurt article is a great example of the level of writing we are looking for (although a bit more SEO never hurts), whilst the “Family Flights Accommodation” article would not work at all – ever.
