We are a brand new company creating bespoke wedding arbors and mandaps. We are looking for a young, enthusiastic and creative individual who can work alongside us to create beautiful bespoke arbors and mandaps! Ideally the candidate should either have experience in, or is willing to [quickly] learn: Product designer CAD design - and be able to make a brief for a manufacturer Basic woodwork / carpentry (principles) Creative adaptability to work with other materials (eg, metal poles)(principles) Basic self-assembly designs and concepts Ideas around flower arrangements How to decorate an arbor / mandap(!) Passion, fun and enthusiasm Creative flare In terms of remuneration - we are happy to discuss different options.. The team: So far it is made up of a forensic psychiatrist-come-arbor and mandap enthusiast and an ancient historian / egyptologist-come-arbor and mandap enthusiast! As well as two other people who have worked in the DIY industry for a number of years! Hi, i rarely get to see such detailed project. I really appreciate the the efforts to explain the requirements completely. I am an experienced mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design. I have been involved with some wood puzzle development and being a mechanical engineer i know ky way around with metals, plastic and other materials for DIY as well as production requirements. I am not insanely creative but i am consistently improving it as being a engineer i am good at developing solutions for complex problems compared to developing artistic designs concepts. I do have extensive experience in realizing artistic concept to actual products. I look forward discussing your requirements if you are interested.

I'm a mechanical engineer - specialized in the industrial robotic field, 3D designer and modeler (from time to time and some projects I could make the functional prototype too). I'm doing product design, industrial design, reverse engineering, ideation, etc. I have over 15 years experience working on various systems/devices across multiple industries, from concept to launch. 1 - i could design and deliver full set of shop drawings for arbors and mandaps, but will need a theme... (there could be so many variations...) 2 - don't know about floral arrangements... :( 3 - the arbors and mandaps (if we'll agree on a development program) could be designed somehow modular and interchangeable, which will allows you to get maximum effect with only few elements more to be discussed Regards Bogdan
