We are looking to experiment with getting some functionality into IOS / Android via Xamarin, we are looking for no visual styles here just the most Raw proof of concept. We want to see if people have experience in: This needs to be Xamarin only please TCP Connect Port Scan (just scanning a single remote port to see if its open) Unpn device discovery (Using a UPnp libary to scan for UPnp broadcast traffic) Get Mac Address of remote IP (some kind of arp command, SendArp is used in c#) Bonjour Apple Detection ZeroConf Below are some research examples we used. A simple sure solution is BRUTE FORCING your LAN IP on the specific port, is impossible to get a list of IPs if you don`t have full acces on the router. If you feel that my answer is what you were looking for, contact me.
