Wish list – Direction of the App . 1. Program to be compatible with iphone and android devices including tablets and phone. 2. APP IP/Ownership to remain with ACS – not developers. 3. IP copyright to belong to ACS at all times. 4. 5. App is not to be web based – has to be native with shared functionality between platforms and platform specific functionality where required 6. App has to have email/user name/ password to be entered to app ( Can be stored) - this will be used only to query the plates database 7. Google/Apple to provide monthly subscription processing 8. ACS to provide user name and account credential to subscribers on purchase/download of app 9. App has to point back to database location – will plates database will not be on an ACS server – will be off located to a ISP server 10. Program to made available on the Apple store and Google play store 11. No advertising banners to be present unless approved by ACS Technology. 12. Our Logo which will be supplied to appear on the App – need to keep the app small and responsive – Needs to be branded 13. The app must match PetroGuard branding – logos, colours look ( to be defined in a design brief by ACS) 14. Also app must match the design platforms of Apple and Google – but must look and feel the same no matter which platform the app runs on 15. Each device has to be authenticated to our own user database ( paid subscription) to stop unlawful use of the app 16. Current proof of concept App ACS has designed gives general design feel - must maintain it 17. APP – will need to ensure that we can limit database query per hour from the same user name – device . 18. APP to be developed in MVP architecture 19. APP development to include unit tests of all aspect of the application – including user interface 20. APP must be allow key type, show positive or negative match and then auto clear the field to allow next plate to be entered 21.
