Hello, I'm doing a project on AVL Boost Software version 2019. The big aim of the Project is Modelling Dual-Fuel engine, that can run with:
- Diesel fuel
-Methane natural gas and diesel fuel as a pilot fuel to start the combustion within the cylinder
then establishing an Exhaust After Treatment (EAT) system to minimize green-house emissions.
Methodology:
To achieve the project, Diesel engine and Methane natural gas engine should be build first with EAT system, then integrated the two engines to build the dual fuel engine with EAT system.
The turbocharged diesel engine layout is done, and it run successfully. (Just need the EAT system to be done!!)
the turbocharged Methane engine layout is done, but unfortunately, it didn't run along with missing EAT system.
the turbocharged dual-fuel engine layout is done, but unfortunately, it didn't run along with missing EAT system.
Summary:
To sum up, I need:
* EAT system for the TC Diesel Engine.
* Making the TC Methane engine run + EAT system .
* Making the TC Dual-Fuel engine run + EAT system.
All of this should be done with AVL Boost Software.
Note**
As shown in the uploaded pictures, the Methane engine has the same layout as the diesel engine, but adding the injection system to the model, and the methane engine has the same layout as the dual-fuel engine, but adding the fuel species methane and diesel with their percentages.
