Hello there, I am a journalist and a public relations professional from Australia who is now based in Rome.
I believe I am qualified to carry out this task given my extensive writing and travel experience.
I have travelled to 49 countries so far. I have just returned from 10 months exploring Central and South America covering 15 countries. On your list of off-the-beaten track destinations, I’ve travelled to nearly all of them including these ones in bold – Bosnia, Nicaragua, Mykonos, Panama, Istanbul, Atacama, Siem Reap, Gold Coast (near my home town of Brisbane), and Tasmania.
My passion as a writer is travel. As a journalist I was regularly sent away on famils to both international and local destinations to write about. As a PR consultant, the majority of my clients were in the travel sphere and my job was to write engaging and newsworthy pieces based on the destinations they operated in.
I can certainly write with edginess, excitement and humour. A story sample involving me and a cantankerous horse in the Canadian Rockies can be found in my portfolio.
Other destinations I am excited to write about include Colombia which I explored from Bogota in the south to Cartagena in the north. Peru, Costa Rica and Guatemala are also fascinating countries which I can generate content on.
I can promise you high quality, engaging pieces based on my travel experiences.
This sounds like a very exciting project - I look forward to discussing it with you further.
