I have particular interest and skill in creative non-fiction. I am also an effective researcher. I have enjoyed many types of PC games since I was young and now my two boys play them too. Because of this, I am able to write from three distinct points of view; adult, pre-teen and teen. While my own tastes lie more with building, exploring and simulation games, my sons enjoy games with some degree of conflict. However, they most enjoy building with conflict games such as Minecraft and Age of Empires. My younger son often plays scientific simulations such as Powder Toy and Alchemy. Particular experience in World of Warcraft

I live, breathe and love PC gaming. It might be a dramatic statement but it's certainly true for me. I've been gaming for over two decades and the majority of that has been on PC, way back when Doom and Wolfenstein created a whole new genre and strategy games were all the rage. I was there to see the birth of the biggest gaming IPs still going today and I actually remember what it was like before Steam was even a twinkle in Gabe Newell's eye. Not only that, I'm a keen PC builder, overclocker and general tech geek. I put down money on the Oculus kickstarter because I believe VR has a huge future ahead of it (I could never imagine the success of these headsets, and I'd have laughed if someone told me Sony would be making one). I'm also a firm believer in PC modding to inspire a whole new generation of game developers and I get a bit grumpy when pre-order bonuses or day one DLC is mentioned. Anyway, I've enjoyed a multitude of PC games across various genres and I could probably write about most things to do with PC gaming in general. I am more than a qualified writer, but even more so, I am a qualified gamer. To be perfectly honest, I do not own a PC (I do have a Mac though), but I do own a Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, X-Box 360, X-Box One, Wii and Wii U. So basically, I can cover most AAA titles than aren't PC specific, and also most indie games are available on most system these days. So yes, I can cover a lot of ground.
