Content Manager

We are seeking a passionate Content Manager to establish FunAmsterdam as a thought leader for fun & amsterdam, while supporting our marketing team with copywriting needs. You’ll control FunAmsterdam's voice - no piece of copy goes out without your input. From developing videos and white papers, to writing an essay on blended learning, you’ll figure out how to position FunAmsterdam's brand to drive adoption in schools and education tech companies. You’re energized by the challenge of promoting a technical product to a variety of audiences. Responsibilities: You’ll author a multiplying library of content that expands beyond our product and speaks to a larger community of those passionate about education reform Be the master of FunAmsterdam's content and become the authority on edtech Manage the FunAmsterdam blog and websites and make sure content is relevant, engaging and drives visitors back for more industry news Research, write, and edit many other types of content, such as: white papers, articles, ebooks, infographics, case studies, guides, presentations, and sales collateral Ability to take complex messages and convert them to simple and digestible content Spice up content on our company website Update white papers with new districts and security practices Assist recruiting with job posts and career fair collateral (you could have written this better yourself, right?) Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a Content Manager, Content Marketing Manager, or equivalent Writing is your passion: either you've been a reporter, or you've written a novel, or you've worked as a copywriter for a startup You are excited about capturing a story in different formats, speaking to different audiences You nerd-out about when to use an oxford comma or a double-space You crave variety - writing for a mission-driven company + hot tech startup at the same time sounds like an exciting challenge Punchy email subjects come second nature (you’ve already re-named the title of this job description) Familiarity with SEO: you understand keywords, how SEO should be part of your strategy and how it drives inbound leads Competitive payment and significant bonus in well-funded, high-growth company Work from home
