Hello, my name is Ugur. I am a Forex developer. Currently, I can test your robot with Dukascopy tick by tick data including Metarader 4 robots (EAs). I have a system that I use Dukascopy tick data (tick by tick) in MT4. Dukascopy is one of the main provider of currency prices and respected by all traders. If your robot was coded in MT5, I can also test it in your broker. MT4 does not provide back testing with real tick by tick data, so we use some extra softwares for MT4. The important thing about back testing is using logic, not just calculating all variations. If you use too much filter to raise profit, most probably, it will be performing badly on forward testing. For example, lets say the robot made the best profit factor between the hours 14:00-15:00 in the last year. You sould not open positions only in these hours, because it is just coincidence. That does not mean it will be the same next year. But, if it is performing good in the London session in last two years, and if you have an idea about the reason (a logic), this is a good signal.
