Create Custom Wordpress Template From Existing Simple Site

I'd like to convert a simple web site to a Wordpress-based site. Therefore I need a custom Wordpress theme that mimics the existing design and layout. I'm a web developer myself, but this is not my specialty and I don't have the time. The site has only 5 pages, all of which have exactly the same layout. So, the theme should contain a fitting page template. The remaining templates in a standard Wordpress theme (blog posts, archive overview etc.) should be adapted to match the design of the page template. Those other templates don't have to be fancy, they should just have matching text colors etc. I have attached a screenshot of the existing site, I will give the URL to successful bidder. Site is already based on clean, simple, valid XHTML/CSS, so you can and should use that as the basis for your template. Success criteria ----------------- * theme should be simple, ideally based on a default theme * theme must work with a fresh Wordpress 2.85 install * theme must look 95% similar in IE6/7/8 and Firefox 3 * Wordpress site must look exactly the same as existing site * theme must be valid XHTML 1.0 transitional, table-less CSS (you can use the existing XHTML/CSS) * theme must contain page template and matching templates for blog posts, archive view etc.
