I am looking for somebody to build a website similar to the functionality of Amazon.com. I would like there to be a feedback rating system, private emails between buyers and sellers, and a fixed price listing for items. I know there are core products out there like, word press and open cart. However, I don't know if those systems will let you add the features that I want to make the site function the way I want it to. What I would like to know if somebody has the ability to design the site from scratch, using a shopping cart, search program, etc. That way there will not be any issues with trying to get something to work with some of the built-in starter programs. The last thing I want to happen is, we get started on the project and then be told that you cannot do something or the word press program wont let you do it, stuff like that. So again, what I want the website to have: 1. sellers to sell items 2. buyers to purchase these items 3. my company to collect a transaction fee for the sale. 4. feedback rating system 5. private emails between buyers & sellers 6. comprehensive search system 7. simple enough for a beginner to use/navigate 8. shopping cart to hold unlimited items (if possible) 9. ability to integrate existing bank merchant services for credit card processing 10. work with paypal as well. 11. all users, whether buyer or seller to have user id 12. share items for sale with other social network sites, FB, twit, etc. 13. sellers to upload at least 5 pictures per item for sale. 14. items to be sold by fixed price. 15. fixed pricing for shipping as well. I think I have described everything but it may be only what I can remember at this time.
