I B 3 D . C O M P R O J E C T D E S C R I P T I O N This Project is a bare bones Beta site. It is going to be used as a proof of concept only. A Graphical web site is not included at this time. Once the initial site is completed, I may be extending the job to update the graphics and usability. There is a web site online which demo's a 3D model application at - [login to view URL] Please view this Demo page before reviewing my 3D Project. The Demo page is described in part as follows: "JSC3D Demo. This project provides a 3d object viewer for presenting 3d models and small scenes on a web page. JSC3D is coded entirely in Java-script and requires an HTML canvas to perform rendering and interactions." I believe that most all the code you need is already implemented in the JSC3D Demo or is implemented in the existing methods. It may be a matter of cutting and pasting in the right places and the use of your knowledge of java-script to implement the new arrangement. The JSC3D Demo site has 3 different views that function in a way that I would like to duplicate on my site. I will supply my own JPG and OBJ files. My 3D Project will consist of the following: A front page - (Similar to JSC3D Demo “Introduction"). Display some text that I will provide and also display 6 different JPG files with links to the second page display. Each of the 6 JPG files represent the 6 different Categories of 3D views. Each name of the JPG begins with a number that represents the Categories 1 thru 6. For example Category 1 JPG file name will be “[login to view URL]” I will provide 96 JPG and 96 OBJ files. The file names will be 1xx thru 6xx - 1..6 = Categories, xx = the Sub Category names 1..16 The Second Page display (Similar to JSC3D Demo “Live Demos”) will display a group of 16 different JPEG thumbnail files. This Group of JPG files represents the files in the Category selected from the Front page. A selection of each of these JPG files will take the user to the Third page and pass the name of the JPG file. These JPG file names will include the Category number and the File number. For example the Category is 2 and the JPG file is the 16th the name will be “[login to view URL]”. The Third page (Similar to JSC3D Demo \demo\*.html)will display the 3D view of the OBJ file whose name is coincident with the selected JPG file name. For example “[login to view URL]” When viewed, each OBJ file will have the presently available features: Material skin, Views (Front, Right, Left, Isometric), Zoom, Rotate, [login to view URL] JSC3D Demo site allows saving the 3D view as a PNG file with a right mouse click, That's good, but I'd like my logo or a “[login to view URL]" watermark imprinted onto the PNG file. The Third page will display the 3D view of the OBJ file whose name is coincident with the selected JPG file name.
