Built from Scratch - Website/Wordpress/Widgets

APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN: Wordpress Implementing iPad specific functionality HTML5 Building custom widgets Building unique user interfaces Applicants MUST have a portfolio. I've designed a site in Photoshop and I need someone to write the code for it. There are 4 pages. Page 1 is a Blog. Page 2 is an Image Gallery that will be updated frequently, and will essentially function like a blog. Page 3 has a randomizer button that will display a random quote (from a list of about 30) every time you click it. Page 4 is a contact page. All four pages will have the same header/banner area, and navigation bar at the top of the page. Page 1&2 scroll horizontally with a custom slider. These are the most complex pages because they have a unique user interface and they need custom widgets built for both of them. I've been told that it approaches something that looks more like a native app for an online publication than a standard website. DETAILS: PAGE 1: This is the blog. It will scroll horizontally. It is going to function as the homepage for now. At the top is the header/banner area, and the navigation bar. Below it is the area where posts will be made. Each post will have a title, date, time and location subtitle, following with the content of the post. (I think I want about 10 posts per page.) There is a calendar widget on the left hand side (that will need to be built from scratch.) Each day a post is made, an icon will appear on that day on the calendar. (Also at the bottom the page, there’s a scroll bar that will move the post area. So the Sidebar, and all the post act as one... “unit” and move horizontally while everything else stays stationary.) LEFT SIDEBAR: This is an archive of all of the posts. This sidebar will not be stationary and will scroll away just like the rest of the page. This shows three months at a time. At the bottom of this widget, there will be arrows to navigate through the months. The calendar would function like a set of thumbnails, where if you click on a specific thumbnail (icon) it would automatically scroll the page to that post. If it happens to be a post that isn't loaded on the current page, it would re load and display that post and the previous 9 entries. PAGE 2: This is the image gallery area. I want it to function like a blog too in the sense that it will have posts, and will be updated FREQUENTLY. Each post will me made up of mostly images. (approx. 3-10 images per post) ( I'll be optimizing everything to keep loading times to a minimum. ) There might be some text, but not a lot. It will focus on one post at a time. Each post will have overflow horizontally and have a slider to navigate through it. ( I picture it on an iPad and you using you finger to slide the whole thing over. or maybe with a mouse you could click and drag the whole thing over too...) LEFT SIDEBAR: It has 2 parts. The FIRST PART loads seven posts with thumbnails of each. I want it to load 7 posts, so it doesn't have to reload every time you click on a thumbnail. The only way you can go through them is by click on the thumbnails. Each time you click on a new thumbnail, that post will slide in vertically, while the other one slides out. I'd also like the user to be able to press the up or down arrow key to move through these seven thumbnails. I'd like the left and right arrow keys to be able to move The SECOND PART is another archive system. It will be made up of dots that symbolize the the previous seven entries. A similar interface can be viewed at the bottom of notcot.org. The Sidebar will remain stationary and appear to float on top of everything. The post area will move underneath the sidebar when scrolling through it. (Everything else will remain stationary too. The only thing that will be moving will be the post area.)
