(Front end contains forms, modules, reports and Back end contains only tables) I recommend you, it is better to keep both separated because it makes the maintenance of project simple. The data is separated from the application (forms, reports). When you get newer version of front-end, you can keep your data file with you. 2. Even you cannot see from my current reviews on Freelancer, I have a good working experience using Microsoft Access as a local (on a single PC, not network based) database manager and user interface. So I think I could do this work. Currently I am using Microsoft Office 2010, but there is no problem using a database developed with such version, on a more recent version of Office / Access. Hi, Technically I have 15+ years developing VB and database applications and I have developed numerous access applications for various requirements. So I believe I should be able to provide the application you require. I would need some additional info to get a better idea of the values you need captured, however we can cover that should you wish to proceed. I would plan on severl screens including: 1) Customer maintaince screen 2) Employee maintaince Screen 3) Inventory including maintaince forms for product and service items. 4) Sales screen. 5) Purchases screen I prefer to product Invoices etc by automating excel as I find this produces a cleaner/more professional looking product. However we can produce a few to get the best option for you. As for the user level security, this can easily be done with a variety of options the best option will depend on how the features are to be controled, but we can cover that later.
