**Changes to Android App** Install and test the app @ [[login to view URL]][1] *Deadline:July 31, 2011* What we have: 1. Scan bar code or QR code, query the MySQL database at [login to view URL], information then goes back to phone and is displayed. 2. App on phone will query the MySQL database at [login to view URL] and down load a list of items scanned in #1 above. User can select one of the items and a QR code or a bar code will display on the phone with a number that also comes from the database. What we need: 1. Need Java code changed to access a new database. 2. Need geo-location of the phone when activated, saved in the database. 3. Need other transaction information stored in the database such as time, etc. 4. Need a map of the location of item selected by phone user. 5. Phone user can pull up one or more lists of items from the database, display more detail. 6. Phone user selects "email" or text message, contacts are displayed, one selected and the email or text message is sent. 7. We would like you to provide info on: * your skills * depth (working alone or with a group - how many?) * other work you have done similar to what we are asking for High level Requirements: 1. Willing and available to support the app, make changes, tweek, etc. daily during the month of August. Include in fixed bid or we can do hourly. 2. App MUST be functional by July 31st. 3. We need to see and test the app every day (unless you can convince me otherwise) at 10am MST to assess * Progress * code quality * functionality 4. Please let me know what you will charge for * a fixed bid * how much on an hourly basis, ie. estimate of time and per hour rate. ### We can break this down into several smaller projects. If you are confident in doing part of the work, then bid on that. The rest, we can put out in another project bid. *Please submit samples of your work.
