Church Playlist for iPhone or Ipod Touch

An application for any generation iPhone or iPod Touch that will allow a church music director to preload up to 7 songs ("slots") into a service-specific playlist plus 3 playlists with no limit on the number of songs. 5 church services will be available to choose from, depending on the church service. ## Deliverables The main menu will allow you to select one of the 7 playlists, a settings menu. The settings menu allows you to adjust: Hymn Play Delay (in seconds) [slider 0 to 10 seconds, ? second increments] {default: 3 seconds} Hymn Fade in/out for Pause (in seconds) [slider 0 to 10 seconds, ? second increments] {default: 2 seconds} Non-hymn Fade out (in seconds) [slider 0 to 10 seconds, ? second increments] {default: 5 seconds} Non-hymn Automatic Volume Reduction (%) (0 to 100%, 5% increments] {default: 35%} A {Main Menu} button takes you back to the main menu The 3 unlimited playlists will be titled "Voluntary," Offertory," and "Prelude" and selecting one of them allows the user to add, remove, and rearrange the play order of songs. The 5 church service play lists will be titled "Sunday," "Wednesday," "Communion," "Thanksgiving," and "Sunday School." When one of these playlists is selected, the slots for that playlist are displayed and a song stored on the device can be selected for each slot. "None" is a valid option for each slot. The user will select "Start Service" which will take them to another screen displaying the slot name, Title/Artist information for the song that has been loaded into that slot, a progress bar, elapsed time, time remaining, a volume adjustment bar, a rewind icon, and a large pause/play icon. Music doesn't begin until you tap anywhere in the top ~70% (except one of the adjustments or buttons) of the screen toggles between pause/play. The bottom ~30% of the screen will have an icon for each of the 7 slots with the current slot highlighted, plus an icon for "Go Back". Touching the icon for another slot takes you to that slot. Once a song finishes playing, advance to the next slot in line and PAUSE. Most services include a Voluntary, Offertory, and Postlude ("non-hymns") - these are individual playlists that are setup from the Main Menu and if you tap the "play/pause" portion of the screen while these are playing, they fade out, advance to the next slot, and PAUSE. This is not a graphically intense UI, but it should be pleasant, professional, and some icons should be graphical where necessary. We have gone to great lengths to include as much detail as possible in the write-up, but this project will undoubtedly require tweaking and some interaction between Employer and Employee. Please include in your quote the possibility of one round of major UI layout changes once you submit your first UI proposal and three rounds of minor UI over the course of the project. We will need your assistance in publishing this application on the iTunes store for others to purchase and download. If we have left out information such as how a certain feature should behave, please ask before you bid - the answer/clarification will be inserted into the project description. Once the bidding is closed and the project is awarded, it will not be possible to increase the price after a clarification is made. UPDATE: The songs will be stored on the device.
