Hi, I have a small PHP script which needs patching. This scripts compares the 2 to 4 versions of the same code, but this script has one bug: It runs out of juice to finish the job of displaying the matching lines. PHP gives either a 30 seconds execution error ("Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded") or runs out of memory to compare large files. I do not have the administration rights to change the PHP-settings, so I need another solution. I am looking for anyone who can either debug this script so that it works OR write a new version, based on this script. Please include any proposals you might have in the bidding. To sum up the purpose of this script: This script should compare 2 up to 4 different source codes (also long pages) and return all the lines/code that is the same in each source, with each different and appropiate linenumbers (on which the code can be found in each source) contained in DIV-tags. Bugs to fix: - Fatal error, maximum exection time - Might not fully compare same code if linenumbers are different (can not check due to fatal error) - Possibly also the memroy drain to compare large file (between 100 and 1000 lines of source code for each individual source) You are may use the folowing to make this work: - MySQL - Flatfile database (xml- or textfiles in a subdirectory) Coding should be in PHP (hackerproof). Output should be in XHMTL (strict) + CSS. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. I am often away, so sometimes responses might be slow.
