C# 2.0 / C++ Super fast Image thumbnail generator

I need a _Super fast_ thumbnail generator for an application that is beeing worked on. The component should work with a C# 2.0 application, but can be made in either C#2.0 or C++ for enhanced speed performance. The solution should be build as a control for VS 2003/2005 for use with multiple applications in the future. Generally this application should be able to generate thumbnails of images from a defined folder and by option any subfolders. The thumbnails should then be stored in a combined file ([login to view URL]) in the same directory as where the image is stored in. If there are multiple images the folder they should all be stored in the [login to view URL] file. creation of images should be done by threads so the component dosnt hang in the process of thumbnail generation and should further be able to run multiple times so more than one folder can be initiated at a time. a future option should be a status control to show the progress of the folder beeing thumbnailed and further how many files there are left. It should also be possible to cancel that specific process without killing the application. there should be an option to set the size of the thumbnails either by height or by width. the coder should be an experienced developer with some history at RAC and above 8 in rating. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000, XP and Vista.
