Computer to phone interface

Computer to phone interface I have my contacts list in a web based application. This list contains among different infos a contact phone number. I would like to able to click on the the phone number and make my phone compose the number. Then i’ll pick up the phone and will start the conversation. I would like you to propose the complete solution hardware-software set and if any specific soft needs to be coded, to code it. I suppose it’ll be an ActiveX for the web application (i can easily modify the application to integrate anything) and a hardware to connect the computer to the phone.
