Auto-update template application

A small .NET program is required with an auto-update feature. The plan is to merge this program into an existing program so that it allows auto-update functionality. This job requires the following: 1. A small winforms application written in C# that: 1.1 Has in-process auto-update functionality using Microsoft Updater Block V2. 1.2 Has a server poll interval of 2 hours. 1.3 Does not rely on absolute paths in anyway. 1.4 Application updates are applied upon application exit. 1.5 The code must be easily portable to an existing application to provide auto-update. 2. A complete server-side walk-through on how to configure the autoupdate. 2.1 How to deploy on IIS (virtual directories, security settings, etc). 2.2 How to configure server manifest file for new versions. 3. Bidder must provide demonstration. 3.1 Client application version 1. 3.2 Client application version 2 (on IIS). 3.3 Server manifests + deployment instructions. This is not a labor intensive project, it just requires specialist skills in these areas. It should take no more than 1 day or so to get this up and running. Please note just ripping code from codeproject or something similar is insufficient. I need to be able to merge your application into mine to provide autoupdate feature for application without major effort. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Microsoft.NET v1.2 C# IIS Windows XP
