Database/Website project

Our company manages entertainment machines (slot machines, pinball (gift) machines). Machines are located either in bars/restaurants/retail locations or ‘outside’ (in the streets). Service Reps visit the machines on a regular basis (every 1-3 weeks) to collect the money and service the machine (filling up with products/gifts, minor repairs, cleaning). At the same time they register the data about number of transactions etc as provided by the machine. Our objective is to set up a system (platform, application, procedures) to effectively manage/control the machines and Service Reps out in the market. The system should be set up in such a way, that it can also be used for traditional vending machines. In the first stage of the project, the database should be constructed and used offline. In the second stage a website should be built, allowing our Service Reps entering their data end of the day and our Controller runs the required reports.
