Brief is below: OTHER DETAILS IN ATTACHED DOCUMENT This LMS platform will provide delivery of certification courses on management topics. Target audience MBA 1st year students USP Dashboard and overall user experience as USP: comprehensive dashboard (which captures available courses, completed courses, completion tracking, performance indicators – comparison with the average of the rest of the batch, section/subject wise performance stats, contribution stats and more). How Will the Course progress? Credit System for each type of learning ­ Each section of the course (lessons, study material, assignments, projects etc.) will have a time credit associated with it. These time credits are already pre-defined. ­ Each student has to eventually complete 150 hrs. of Real time learning (RTL) to obtain ZC3 Level-3 ­ Student will not be considered pass if he fails to clock 100hrs of RTL ­ To be able to qualify for each hour of RTL, student must record 2 hrs. of Simulated +Contact Learning (SL+CL) ­ Each trimester, student must complete certain compulsory (C) hrs. Of simulated and contact learning hours. He also will have some optional hours (O) to further chose from Simulated and Classroom learning modules, to complete his 100 hrs. for the trimester. Recording of Completion and award of credits ­ Student should be able to mark completion of activity – say completion of reading of a study material, going through a video or presentation etc. The moment student marks something as complete, pre-defined hours/minutes are credited to the student. ­ Similarly, there is a time credit for assignments (Simulated or Real time) also. However, in case of assignments and submissions, time credit is given to the student only on acceptance by teacher/course manager. ­ Student keeps accumulating these credits throughout the course. Course Flow ­ Each trimester student will first have to atleast complete their compulsory hours ­ He can then go to optional hrs. once compulsory hrs. Of each type of learning is complete. ­ Upon completion of 100hrs, students clears the Trimester (Given the evaluation has been cleared). ­ Contact learning hours will be recorded at individual level; simulated learning hours will be both individual as well as team based (Primarily team based). ­ If the team/Student fails to clear the mandatory hours, they will be penalised by increase in their ratio of hours required to do a live project. ­ Hours won’t be counted, if the student doesn’t give or fails the evaluation. ­ Independent of the course point and hours recorded, we will keep putting up a pipeline of live projects, along with the hrs. required for the project. ­ Any team which has sufficient hours can pitch for the project, by submitting the proposal. Other Features of Student Experience Online passport System should be able to capture or rather generate student’s digital CV based on the performance in the course. This will be used like an online passport, especially for showcasing it to the companies or potential employers. This will be generated at the end of each trimester (prelim) and the final version will be created at the end of the course. This should be in both webpage form and a printable form (alike LinkedIn home page of a person and a printable CV through the same).
