Distance Mapper (for large outdoor areas)

Hello All VB Coders, I would like a program that measures the distance between any two mouse clicks on a screen (an image embedded in the form). Imagine a virtual map with trails on it that you could determine your best route before beginning your hike. Each screen would be an individual form that I can add an image to, before compiling (user does not change image). The user could then make an initial mouse-click anywhere on the screen and a small mark would be left at that point denoting it as “Point 1??. The user would then click on another area and have a small mark appear that designates this area as “Point 2??. A line would appear between the two points (if possible) and the distance between points 1 and 2 would be appear in a text box in a designated area. When the user clicked on a third point, a small mark would appear as “Point 3?? and the original information would still stay for points 1 and 2. The distance from point 2 to point 3 would appear in a second test box in a designated area… and so on for up to 6 or 7 points. There needs to be an “undo last?? option as well as a “clear all (and start over option??. I would like there to be a “save?? option so that people can see the path they have laid, with distances saved as well. There needs to be room on each screen for me to add some text about the region. I would need this form duplicated to allow me to add 15 to 20 regions per project. This needs to be completed in VB 6 so that I can customize and update for different regions.
