Digital Camera Remote Image Capture

I am making a data entry application that needs to integrate the use of a Digital Camera connected via USB. I simply need to snap a photo from the application and display the image in a picturebox on my form. Then, I need to save the image to a database. Canon has a SDK to do just this very thing. They even include a sample app. The sample works fine but it is a bit over my head as far as customizing it further. Some more specifics.... Camera - Canon EOS Rebel XTi Canon SDK version - EDSDK 1.3 Development Tool - Miscrosoft Visual Studio 2005 Programming Language - VB.NET Database - Either SQL Compact Edition or MS Access. I am simply looking for a small Visual Studio sample project that has the following features. -A backend database with 4 fields. Field1, Field2, Field3, and Image. SQL Server Compact Edition or MS Access is fine. -A bound form with 3 textboxes and a picturebox. -A button that "takes the picture" and inserts it in the picturebox -An Enter button that saves the image to a database.
