Date Time Format Routine

A date time formatting function that will take a possible invalid date format and convert to the locales date / time format using API GetRegionalSetting() A date (as string) and format will be passed to the function. The function will look at the format for example format; yyyy/mm/dd and will convert the format to the user’s local date format which could be mm/dd/yy so as to make a legal and/or correct date on the end users box. The tricky part of this function is for date formats that use dd/mm or mm/dd for example US and UK. The function returns the corrected date. If the format is the same, the function returns simply the date unchanged. The function should be able to handle date and times. I suggest when the function passes a date and a time that the “space?? is used to determine if the date being passed has both a date and time. Same with the format. For example: 09/05/05 12:32:15 mm/dd/yy hh:hh:hh In the above case, if the space exists, the values on the left is a date and the one on the right is time. If there is no space then: The function should test if one parameter a date or time is passed, which is a date and which is a time. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
