Audio(sound) recording and playback application

I'm a developer and am developing an audio application. unfortunately I stack to get the output that I anticipated and hence I want a coder. The application is to do the following fundamental functionalities: 1)record sound/audio from three basic inputs: microphone, telephone line conversation, and audio CD. 2)to save the recorded audio file into the computer hard disk 3)the user must be able to playback the recorded file when wants to do so 4)all the recorded files must be stored into the database for easy management and access when the user wants to refer to a specific file. The table in the database must have at least the following important fifeld:(i). fileID (ii). filename (iii). date the file being recorded (iv). length of the file in time (v). size of the file in bytes/Kb/MB 5)there must be an easy user interface from which the user can do the following: (i). select the file he want to play (ii). view the files being stored over specific time interval (report) (iii). after selecting the files to playback, there must be a way to link to the actual file to playback 6)Audio files must undergo compression (there must be a copression algorithm) to reduce the file size 7)a compression algorithm can be either lossy or lossless but must have good compression ratio of at least half the original file, i.e. the output compressed file must be at least half the original uncompressed file 8)The application must be developed using visual basic 6.0 and MS Access (for database) 11)the application for recording and playback audio files must be developed using simple library functions such as mciSendString, mciCommandString, etc. 9)any additions in terms of software for developing the application are wellcome but must get approval of me. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s)/ application in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2)full comments for all the codes in the source code so that I can learn easily and understand 3)full descriptions for the hardware requirements for the application to run 4) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
