Multiple File Upload Scripts

I need a script to upload multiple files to the server (upto 25GB). As soon as files are uploaded; end user will notified via email that file has been uploaded. Once the user download it; sender will informed that file has been downloaded. This file gets deleted after 10 or 15 days since upload. This file deletion I would prefer as cron job.
