Customised BuddyPress Site for The Music Indsutry

Need a social network built with BuddyPress designed for the music industry most of the work in this project involves the user profiles, this is the first stage of the project and we hope to build a relationship and have you work on the future projects that will develop the site further by adding more complicated features like voting and charts but for the moment most of the work is around the user profiles and streamlining and securing the signup process. Creating a child theme based on the default design of BP and adding a few widget areas to the site. ## Deliverables I need a WordPress/BuddyPress/PHP developer to create a customised BuddyPress site aimed at the music industry. Your role will be to do the coding and implement of the features for the site; any graphical design and content will be produce by us. This project is for a social music website that will allow users to register with custom fields, create a profile that uses these custom fields, they will also be able to uploaded music and videos should they wish. Each profile should be easy to update for the user as well as us should we need to update the fields. There should be the basic fields, name, company, age, gender, occupation & music genre. As well as other fields such as other fields for self promotion such as twitter, facebook and website links all that open in a separate tab. There should also be fields that allow the user to input video and music from other major sites and display within their profile. At the moment I would like to use YouTube and other similar sites to host the video and music and the user would just need to paste the video link into their profile and the video will then be displayed within their user profile. I would like people to be able to connect with Facebook or via regular sign up and there should be some form or Capcha or Human-Check security at sign up to prevent bots and spammers signing up. You should design a child theme of the default BP theme and maybe add a couple more widget areas to the design. I'm hoping to build a good working relationship with you, the site will be expanded to include things like own upload, voting and charts but for the moment we would like to concentrate on the sign up, user profiles and site layout and design. Preferable you should have experience in using BuddyPress and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the technologies we want to use and implement into the site. You should have the a development server that we can access to test the features and once the first testing stage is complete transfer this to the main site. We are hoping for this to be ready within a couple of weeks and no more than a month.
