CAKE PHP optimization

I need someone who can help me clean up a perviously built Cake application. ? I also need to get a report that was partially completed finalized. ? This database is working with large tables that have over 50,000 records each. ? There are 4 tables in particular that need to have the data from each joined and sorted for a ajax like display. ? If you are very capable and familiar with Cake PHP framework and MySql databases then you will be able to help me out. ? I need this work completed in a very timely matter and it is of some urgency that the problems that I am having get fixed.? Things to be completed. 1. Check and verify that the 8 existing controllers, and their respective views and models are working optimally and following MVC rules. 2. Fix the problems with 1, possibly 2 of the controllers not working correctly (this is my guess at the problem, there are a few pages that don't load and if seems that there are timeouts between the script and the database) 3. Finish a large report that combines all information from 4 tables of about 50,000 records each and displays it in a specific manner. ? The result will be a page that display the information in a? hierarchy? with top level information and then a second page that shows the detail information of a part of the combines tables information.
