add feature to existing calendar JavaScript

I would like to have the following open source JavaScript modified: [login to view URL] Add a DateFormat which does not include the year. The script should, once it has determined that the year is not part of the DateFormat string, display both the calendar popup and form field inputs WITHOUT the year. In terms of usage, I should be able to set the format either by setting DefaultDateFormat = 'MM/DD'; in the [login to view URL] or explicitly setting it in the function call eg: I only need 1 DateFormat which does not include the year, and it doesn't matter what the format is, as form input is processed by perl (which can do anything :) I would do this myself if I had the time, but I don't. I'll be reviewing the changes looking for intuitive variable names, good comments, neatness (of indents, linespaces etc) and a simple, foolproof algorithms. Note that it's not just a matter of commenting out a few lines of code, since the script needs to support both with and without year at the same time, so I should be able to put the following on a page and have it work: Please note that I will be offering the modified version to the original coder so that he may release it as a feature enhanced version for free, so don't forget to add your credentials to the comments at the top of the script (eg modified by XXX under contract to [login to view URL]) Thanks for your interest in the project.
