Applications Testing Project

This work is indented for serious testers who are able to find issues from functional, integration, performance, usability, navigation, and technical perspectives on a web-based application. The tester(s) is responsible for reporting issues on bug or issue tracking software for traceability, and further assignment. The tester is also responsible for retesting fixes, follow-up, and signing-off on them if they are fixed. The tester(s) is also responsible for bringing recommendations for improvements on all perspectives mentioned above (functional, integration, performance, usability, navigation, and technical perspectives). The recommendations/issues/bugs must be put formally and in detail and with scenarios. There are no small or big issues, all issues/bugs/concerns must be reported and evaluated. From a functional perspective, the tester should act as a user, and create different profiles and roles in the system to check if the permission system and other profile related items are correctly working. The tester is also responsible for inserting realistic data so it can be used for demos after. The tester should use the system just as in real life. Data must be real, and no dummy data like XYZ, GHHH, etc… We need data that can be read and able to make sense out of. It is important to note that our company already have testers, but this project is intended to have and independent testers who do not know the project and used it before. It is also important that we have over 15 applications are currently in development and scheduled to be in development in the near future; we need the best independent testing team. Therefore, this assignment is not only for one application, but multiple. However, depending on the Bidder’s performance on the first assignment, then we will decide if we want to extend the contract. Just for bids estimates perspectives, the period required for testing each application is 3-4 weeks. Technologies used are: PHP, AJAX, Java Scripts, DHTML, HTML, and MYSQL Note: Only serious and experience testers are considered.
