This for is a complex social networking site. This site will allow users to create profiles and applications for the network (via an API) on the site. Users will also be able to create public listings, communities and have the ability to record videos and take photos from this web based application. he site we want you to develope will give users the following: - Email - import address books - Combine and utilize all IM clients via the site. - Record Video and take pictures from their computer and save to their profile - Share Videos and photos with friends - Create social communities - Recomend communities to a user - [login to view URL] style music controls - Create various listings - Recomend listings to a user - Connect dating users with other dating users via various web widgets - Offer AJAX office applications - Daily planner - maintain address book - create and share wish list - Horoscopes THE ABILTY FOR USERS TO DOWNLAD AN API, TO CREATE WIDGETS FOR THE SITE. An admin side would have to be built for the site as well. We would like the site to be built with either one of the following combinations: - Ruby on Rails, mySQL - PHP, mySQL You must know XHTML , CSS and AJAX ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
