Capture voice through webpage and compare with already stored voice words

My requirement is to capture voice through a microphone from a webpage and compare that with the already stored voice file. In detail -- In a webpage we display one word 'Hello'. We ask the user to read that 'Hello' and record his/ her voice reading out 'Hello'. This needs to be recorded/captured. This recorded one needs to be compared with the audio file content we already have on the server. For example, we have one audio file [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] which contains the word 'Hello' as the audio content on the server. Ultimately we are comparing whether user is able to read the word what we are displaying in the webpage or not. This needs to be supported across the browsers like IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari. If possible others like opera etc.... PHP or JSP is the server side code for this. Or if you feel some other technology just let me know, we will discuss. This is an urgent requirement for me. Please let me know the possibilities. I am not sure about the work involved behind this requirement. So please do contact me with your QUOTE for this.
