We have a WYSIWYG editor written in Flash that we need customising. Firstly, we are using a Flash based one as our client is 100% macintosh based. They can see this editor and can use it. The problem is that all it does is write text files out. This is what we require:
1. For the editor to read in fields from a database (or variable anyway) that are passed to it. So, our current php files work like this:
$_SESSION['admin_htmlcode']
and they can read and write to that. We need something similar for this Flash editor.
Need this quickly too (next few days) so anyone can DEMONSTRATE that they can do this will be chosen very quickly
ADDED INFORMATION
--------------------
The following has been added to provide more information as requested by two bidders:
The Flash WYSIWYG editor that we found was the following one:
[login to view URL]
We need to extend this so that it can read and write information from our CMS. The following is the code that we currently use (I think!) to cover this:
case 'itext' :
$_POST[htmlCode]=Change_nl2br($_POST[htmlCode]);
if (isset($edit)) {
$_SESSION[return_link]=$admin_iname;
if (!$_POST[htmlCode]) $_POST[htmlCode]=$_SESSION[posted][htmlCode];
else {
$_SESSION[posted]=$_POST;
$_SESSION[posted][old_htmlCode]=$_POST[htmlCode];
};
include 'zeus/[login to view URL]';
exit;
}
elseif (isset($update)) {
unset($_SESSION[posted]);
mysql_query("update content set value='".addslashes($_POST[htmlCode])."' where name='$admin_iname'");
$_SESSION[admin_message]="The introductory text is updated";
};
break;
but this works with an editor called Zeus edit (standard DHTML type wysiwyg editor). I can provide more code to the winning bidder. Basically it is one text area that we want to read into and take the content and write it back to a database.
Thanks
Ade
